We envision communities where culture is not forgotten, where healing is rooted in relationship, and where future generations grow with a stronger sense of identity, belonging, dignity, and connection.

Xangari Institute is a community-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to cultural reconnecting, intergenerational healing, and the preservation of ancestral knowledge through education, wellness, and collective care.

Rooted in the understanding that culture, identity, movement, story, language, and community are essential to well-being, Xangari creates spaces where individuals and families can reconnect to themselves, their histories, and one another.

Our work brings together culturally grounded learning experiences, community gatherings, mentorship, and creative expression to support personal and collective transformation across generations.

  • Parenting education: attachment-informed, co-regulation skill building

  • Community-based prevention: circles and culturally grounded retreats

  • Protective factor strengthening cultural reconnection and heritage language support as resilience

Our Services

Our Process

Cafecito Consult - 30 min free.

A brief, low-pressure conversation to see if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk about what you’re needing, what kind of support you’re looking for, and answer your questions about scheduling and fees.

Cuentame - What Brings You Here?

If we move forward, you’ll complete a short intake so we can understand your goals, current stressors, and supports. In the first session, we slow down and gather your story with care—at a pace that feels safe and respectful. 90 min

Cierra Ciclo/Post Care Plan

When you’re ready, we shift into a gratitude/closure phase that focuses on long-term support. We review what worked, name your strengths, and create a plan for continued care.

Together we create a plan that fits your real life. This isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s tailored to your needs, culture, nervous system, and relationships.
