Xangari Institute is a community-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to cultural reconnecting, intergenerational healing, and the preservation of ancestral knowledge through education, wellness, and collective care.
Rooted in the understanding that culture, identity, movement, story, language, and community are essential to well-being, Xangari creates spaces where individuals and families can reconnect to themselves, their histories, and one another.

Viva Play (0-5 yrs). Early childhood and caregiver wellness are rooted in play, attachment, language, and culturally affirming connections.
Altura Fatherhood Program. Support for fathers and father figures through reflection, parenting tools, cultural grounding, and healing-centered community.
Reclaim the Joy- Family Constellations Reclaim is a healing-centered community experience created to support individuals in reconnecting with the parts of themselves shaped by childhood experiences, family dynamics, cultural identity, intergenerational stories, and the longing for belonging, connection, and emotional restoration.
Amor de Casa-a culturally grounded postpartum support offering created to nurture mothers and families during the transition into parenthood through connection, emotional support, reflection, rest, and community care.
Rooted in the understanding that healing and parenting were traditionally held in community.

Educational, community-based, and wellness-centered support experiences are not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for licensed mental health care. Clinical therapy services are offered separately through 1 Generation Counseling Services with Veronica Hernandez, LCSW.

Círculo de Guardianes recognizes the systemic barriers many communities face in accessing culturally responsive health and mental health support. Through education, mentorship, and community engagement, this initiative seeks to uplift traditional ways of caring for self, family, and community while helping bridge cultural wisdom and integrated wellness approaches.
Círculo de Guardianes is a culturally grounded community wellness and leadership initiative through Xangari Institute that supports individuals in reconnecting to traditional cultural practices, ancestral knowledge, and collective approaches to community care.
Participants are encouraged to carry these teachings into their homes, neighborhoods, schools, and community spaces as advocates for culturally rooted wellness, collective care, and intergenerational healing.

Somos Medicina community wellness events are culturally grounded gatherings created to bring connection, education, collective care, and wellness support into meaningful public and community-centered spaces.
