Purpose of the Retreat
Compas Con Paz x Xangari Institute Present: Summer 2026 Retreat (Men 40+)
is a space for reflection, leadership, and healing rooted in circle practice and lived experience.
Leadership • Healing • Legacy • Responsibility
Many men reach a point where strength is no longer the question—
but direction, peace, and meaning become the real inquiry.
This is for men who have carried a lot.
Built a lot.
Lost things.
Learned things.
And are now asking:
What kind of man do I want to be in this next chapter?
This is not a retreat of escape.
It is a return to presence, responsibility, and clarity

What Sets Our Retreats Apart
Direct Connection to the Land
Unlike traditional conference-style retreats, this gathering is rooted outdoors — surrounded by trees, mountain air, water, fire, and silence.
Participants are invited to:
disconnect from overstimulation
slow down their nervous systems
reconnect with nature as teacher and medicine
remember what it feels like to simply exist without performance or pressure
The land itself becomes part of the healing experience.
Nature as Medicine
The environment offers natural aromatherapy through:
pine and cedar air
earth after moisture
firewood smoke
medicinal plants
fresh mountain atmosphere
This gathering creates intentional space to:
rest without guilt
reflect without judgment
listen without needing answers
breathe deeply
sit in silence
reconnect with self and spirit
There is value placed on presence, not performance.
Food as Community Medicine
Connection is a core part of the process.
Meals are shared intentionally as part of the experience — not rushed between activities.
Food becomes:
nourishment
storytelling space
laughter
cultural memory
relationship building
